The home is in Burleigh Heads.

There was no grand slam at the auction of Lleyton and Bec Hewitt’s coastal mansion, but an interstate buyer is poised to make an offer.

More than 100 people attended the property ahead of its scheduled 12.30pm auction, which was canned after there were no registered bidders.

More than 100 people assembled to watch tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt and his actress wife Bec’s coastal mansion go to auction at 12.30pm today, but it was cancelled at the last minute

But while the outcome may not be what the golden couple were hoping for,

Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty agent Lynn Malone said there were a number of potential buyers in the crowd.

“There were buyers from Sydney and Melbourne, but I think they wanted to see what happened,” she said.

“The agents (Carol Carter and Blair Carter) are in negotiations with a Melbourne buyer now.”

It will go under the hammer at 12.30pm on Sunday.

Located at Burleigh Heads, their Palm Springs-inspired home went viral after it was listed with Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty agent Carol Carter earlier this month.

It will go under the hammer at 12.30pm on Sunday.

“We have had a lot of interest but it is difficult to get a read on it as people tend to keep things close to their chest,” Ms Carter said.

“But we have had a massive number of inquiries from interstate, a lot out of Sydney and Melbourne, and there has been quite a lot of local interest.

“And we have had some interest out of Germany and the UK.”

Ms Carter said about 137 groups had been through the property since the campaign launched.

“Some people came through before it sold last time,” she said, adding that a lot of people were curious to see inside the Insta-worth house.

Publicly-available property records show the Hewitts, who have three children, purchased the property for $4.305 million in 2021, with median home values in the coveted suburb soaring a whopping 34.7 per cent since then.

Ms Carter said the golden couple were only selling because they did not have enough time to enjoy it.

The 13 Deodar Drive residence, called The Palms, is the epitome of indoor-outdoor living, and sits on a 539sq m block just 400m from the famed beach.

Built in 2020, the striking residence “broke the internet” before it went to auction in May 2021, attracting more than 500 people on the day.

Back then, it sold for $3.75 million but after living in it for just over a month, the buyers listed it again due to commitments elsewhere and that’s when the Hewitt’s lobbed an offer to good to refuse.
