621 Tucks Rd, Shoreham is listed for sale with a $21m-$23m price tag.

A sprawling Tuscan-inspired property in Shoreham named ‘Villa di Lusso’ has just hit the market with a $21m-plus price guide.

Sellers Bronwyn and Andrew Gronow have owned the coastal compound at 621 Tucks Rd since 2001, which they purchased for $2.15m, records show.

With sweeping views out to Western Port Bay and Phillip Island, the couple built not one but two houses on the more than 22ha of land — each with its own swimming pool — totalling nine bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Now, the Gronows are selling their beloved seaside residence with a $21m-$23m price tag.

Ms Gronow said she was a bit of a collector and acquired a number of special items imported from France and Italy over the past two decades that she found a place for in her home.

“When we were building, we were spending several weeks a year in Europe and we fell in love with Italy and France,” she said.

“I wanted to create a farmhouse that looked like it had been there for a number of years.”

Manicured gardens surround the main residence.

She added that her favourite parts of the main residence were the more formal lounge room, which made her feel special every time she sat in there to this day, and the outside fireplace.

Ms Gronow said her husband, who was a keen swimmer, and five children and 13 grandchildren adored the swimming pool.

“The homes been well and truly enjoyed as a family home. We’ve had weddings and lots of celebrations, big, big parties … it’s been a beautifully accommodating family home,” she said.

The main residence is largely centred around its farmhouse kitchen and the opposite dining area features large chandeliers and a wine cellar.

Four bedrooms are separated by two wings, and the main suite has French doors and curved walls.

And tucked away behind hedging and a lemon grove is another, separate five-bedroom home with its own private pool and garden.

Forbes Global Properties Australia director Michael Gibson said the property was absolutely gorgeous and had been beautifully put together.

“If you were driving through the hills of Tuscany and came upon this house, that wouldn’t surprise me,” Mr Gibson said.

“You’ve got two complete houses so if you wanted to turn one into a guesthouse or for family and friends, there’s another house very close by; it’s really very rare.”
